Location & geofence ?These coordinates and the radius form a virtual fence. Volunteers can only check in when their phone’s location is inside it, which keeps attendance honest.

Latitude ?North–south coordinate of the venue (between −90 and 90). Use “Use my current location” to fill it automatically.

Longitude ?East–west coordinate of the venue (between −180 and 180).

Check-in radius (m) ?How close (in metres) a volunteer must be to check in. 100–300 m suits most venues; widen it for large parks or campuses.

Work tags (comma separated) ?Keywords volunteers filter by when browsing — e.g. environment, outdoors, food. Separate each with a comma.

Time slots ?Each slot is a bookable shift with its own start, end, and capacity. Capacity is a hard limit — once it fills, the slot closes automatically.

Add one row per shift. Each needs a start, an end, and a capacity.

Your events

Pending hours approval ?Hours are calculated from each volunteer’s check-in and check-out times. Approving certifies them and credits the volunteer’s lifetime record; rejecting discards them.

Review check-in / check-out times, then certify or reject each volunteer's hours.
